TORSTEN KANZLER

TORSTEN KANZLER

Torsten Kanzler stands for impulsive and powerful techno. Like a chief engineer he operates his set and takes the crowd into a universe of mind-blowing drum-arrangements, creaking synths and warm growling basslines, using „Maschine“ of Native Instrument, two Allen & Heath Xone K2, and an iPad. His direct interaction combined with a spontaneous set with up to four decks spinning make his sets a true happening.

His gigs in all the high places around the globe stand for powerful and profound techno as well as his numerous productions, which make their way into well-known international acts' record bags. Numerous releases on in-demand labels or his own with passion run imprint TKR stand on their own and reflect his obsession and love for techno. Whether as a DJ, producer, or remixer Torsten Kanzler lives techno.

MIJK VAN DIJK

MIJK VAN DIJK

Dj & Producer Microglobe Collective

Mijk van Dijk is one of Berlin’s original techno architects, shaping the city’s raw, transformative ’90s scene. He developed his signature sound as a resident at the seminal Tresor and E-Werk, satisfying the cravings of the dancefloor with hypnotic grooves and melodies that blend the cerebral and visceral. His project Marmion delivered the genre-defining anthem “Schöneberg”, a track tracing the euphoric edges of techno and trance that has resonated with generations of dancers and remixers.

The iconic compilation “Tranceformed From Beyond”, created with Cosmic Baby on Mark Reeder’s MFS label set a visionary course for trance music. His debut solo album “Afreuropamericasiaustralica” explored futuristic themes of unity and environmental consciousness, years ahead of its time. Beyond Berlin, Mijk’s influence spans the globe, with Japan holding a special connection to his work. Releases on Sony Music and Frogman Records have cultivated a dedicated following, while collaborations with Takkyu Ishino (Denki Groove) and iconic gaming soundtracks for “Ghost in the Shell” and “Ridge Racer V” made his music a defining part of the scene. As a live act or behind the decks, Mijk’s performance is pure passion and raw energy.

His genre-bending sets blend live drum machines and effects to always deliver a fresh, exclusive experience. He collaborates with artists across disciplines, channeling his experimental side in the Liquid Sky Collective – a global network of innovators exploring the darker and wilder edges of electronic ambient, acid, and hardcore. Mijk’s authentic sound resonates deeply with its blend of sophistication and force. He fuses relentless techno rhythms with hypnotic acid lines and evocative melodies for a dynamic and immersive sonic storytelling, shifting easily from deep, driving grooves to euphoric highs, drawing listeners into his world.

His most important collaborations currently include his annual floats at Berlin's "Rave the Planet"parade (organized by his microglobe collective together with Volume Berlin Records) and his recently released highly acclaimed album with Tom Wax "From XS to Eternity".
